Closed center hydraulic valve

Why is one of these three spool valves almost 700$ and one
less than 350$ ? Will they both do the same job look like they
are rated the same? Both have load checks.

The 20 Series is a modular design that allows you to stack together as many spools as you need up to 10. This requires much more machining and sealing than the monoblock RD5000 where 1, 2, or 3 spools are in the same housing. The 20 Series also has more valve styles available along with an optional load sense port. If you can get what you're needing with the RD5000 there's probably no reason to spend the extra money.

Thanks i only need a 2 spool valve but I figured I’d get a 3 spool because i have a grapple fork that id like to get put on and then still don’t need to tie up an scv

Buy the valve with with SAE ports.

What if SV's current hoses have NPT & an adapter or new hoses would be required for all 6 hose locations?

I think it would be more important to buy/install a closed center plug.
