I was going to say it looks like a happy Saskatchewan farmer with a new
Minneapolis Z, fresh from the ration board in 1946. Dual fuel. But eh, he wouldn't want a narrow front, would he? Although you'd take what you could get. But it looks like a cornfield in the background, so might be a Minnesotan in his fall clothes.
The wheels look pretty heavy, not seen very often. Sometimes, they loaded the tractors with expensive options to raise the price in the shortage era.
 
The operator platform and the location of where the pto would be makes it a Z. Don’t know for positive but I’m pretty sure an R was never made with that fender configuration. Either way it’s a Moline and that’s why he’s smiling.
