Can you haul a 4400 combine on a gooseneck trailer?

Yes.

Split this combine with a friend. He has a boneyard of 4400s and Deutz tractors. He got the combine. I got the engine and tank extension. Came from Austin Minnesota. I drove it on the trailer. Not even a hint of brakes. One shot, no do-overs. Jason backed It off. He asked me to aim him. It got him to set the wheels where I thought it would back off fine. One shot, no do-overs. Worked like a charm.

I figured one ratchet strap over the walkers was ok. Looks like I was right!

Yup you can but what is the height to the top. MN is a 13'6" state unless they changed it in the last couple of years. Really need to know if you are going to go through Austin on I-90 there are a couple of bridges that are not very high there. Only 13'6" probably a few inches higher. They didn't route me through there with over height loads in the past.
Don't let the tires down to far if you want the tires as if they rub inside it will ruin the tires and tubes.

It ended up being 13 and a half. I had to take the sheet metal off the back of the roof to get it down. The highway through decorah was my biggest concern because there is a bridge posted 13ft 10 in one lane. Gotta use the right lane to avoid making the memes. I also to the road down to postville instead of thru Waukon and down the river. Gets AWFUL narrow, and I have pulled a 6 row planter, 8 row planter, 15 foot finisher, 71 foot auger, etc down that hair raiser.

deflate the tires get another six inches. Truck hit a RxR underpass in Chicago and got stuck, cops and driver were trying to figure out how to get it
out. Six yr old boy walks up and says why not let the air out of the tires. It worked.

I thought for sure someone would blast his buddy for blocking up the Deutz with concrete blocks. Quite a balancing act he has going there. Hope for his sake it all goes well.

At least he has the cmu blocks set the right way, instead of on their sides like most people do.
