Does anyone have a diagram or page from a service manual they are willing to share? Looking to inspect the governor system On a 49 John Deere model A.

If you haven't already I would highly recommend buying the parts manual and users manual for the A.

A couple other publications that helped me along the way was the service manual for a JD B (I had a B at the time, but found a lot of the principles are the same since a B is basically an A only smaller) and a I&T manual (Some guys cuss them, but sometimes I have found their way of explaining a step by step process or a diagram to be better than the factory manuals especially if you haven't worked on hundreds of these tractors).
