Has anyone used/installed the new style (ratchet) starter driver/bendix on a Farmall H 12 volt converted original starter? If so, has it held up over time? What is the installation steps? Thanks.

I'm not sure what you're referring to, but about 30 years ago, the starter drive failed on one of my H's. (My only one, at the time).
I didn't get into specifics, but the new one didn't look at all like the original. I installed it, and it's done what it was supposed to for 30 years.

Put the new drive in then change the cable to a smaller cable from the switch to the starter it will help with the drive. Doesn't get as much juice impact as hard. Will work fine .
