Gears 6 and 8 are in the same range. Gear 7 is in a different one so I am not crystal clear if your highest working gear then is 5th gear or 7th gear. If indeed 5th gear
is your highest operating gear, be sure and drive the 4020 around in 5th gear to see if you can 'put up' with it. Its not particularly fast. Since you only have 7 acres,
im guessing you can deal with it. If you want a 4020, and you seem to be comfortable with the asking price, I suppose I would say go ahead and buy it. You may want to
consider resale value though if you want to sell it in the next several years. Your target market will be severely limited with the transmission issues. Whether you know
it or not, there are not many guys with super small acreages that are looking for 4020's.
