Deutz Allis 6265

I am new the the forum. If anyone could help me with a 6265 I would really appreciate it. Its my grandpas old tractor and Id like to keep it running. I backed it out of the shop it ran great I pulled it to the house to eat lunch before I hooked up the brush hog. When I went out to start it again it doesnt seem to be getting enough fuel. It will idle weigh the pedal is on the floor or not. I replaced the fuel filter thinking that could be it but still does the same thing. Any help anyone could give me would be most appreciated.

Are you saying you get no response from the foot throttle? What happens when you use the hand throttle? Did the linkage just come unhooked from the foot throttle?

Start at the tank and check flow just like a gas engine. Loosen the line at tank if no flow there you are. If flow move to next spot. check for full flow at first filter if good full flow then move to next spot. Cleaned out a plug on a 684 for a guy got some kind of slimy stuff stuck in a corner in the filter base had to remove and blow out then all was fine.

I blew out some slimy stuff. From the line that went from the tank to the filter. And then blew out the line from the filter to lift pump there didnt seem to be anything in it. I can blow into the tank and get gas out from tank to filter and filter to lift pump. Im going to try to find a lift pump. As the rubber seal on the inside of the lift pump has deteriorated. If I can find one.

Hello Deutz, welcome to YT! Does this tractor have a knob you pull to shut it off? If so check the connection and
linkage for it at the pump. Sometimes they use a cable and the cable will slip out or position and not let the
pump return to full fuel. If it has an electric shut down solenoid at the pump check to see if it is moving properly
and allowing full fuel to the injectors. Usually the electric solenoid type either work or not, as in not pulliing it in
enough.
