I bought a Bush Hog 3 pt cutter to use behind the Oliver 550. The tractor end of the pto shaft has been busted and someone welded it back together but they didn’t get it lined up right. The knuckle was about 1/2 off from lining the knuckles up. I ground the weld off and turned it to line them up and welded it back together. The shield came with it, but the clip that holds the guard on is missing. Are they a standard size or did different companies use different sizes? Can I get one anywhere or do I have to go to a Bush Hog dealer? I’ve been to the local John Deere dealer for simple things before and the kid at the parts counter can’t find anything without looking it up by the model number on the computer. Thanks, Chris

I got some clips for swather pto drive at deere deeler(I don't have anything else) last year. should be available by size of shaft. Don't know if TSC has them or not, believe they do

Seems like some NH equipment had those odd shaped rings.
They're a bugger untill you figure out how to remove them!!

Here's some part numbers for the snap ring and bearing it from G&G Manufacturing based on the driveline series. May help you find the parts at a farm store, or on-line, for sure.

128-0600 Bearing Kit fits 6N series Guards only.
128-1200 Bearing Kit fits 12N, 14N & 35N Guards.

(quoted from post at 14:15:26 08/07/20) Most of those driveshafts are all made in Italy, any dealer should have parts for them, if they know how to find them!

It will shock me the driveshaft in Super99 photo was made in Italy. I think it looks old enough to be made in the USA.
