PTO Drive Sprayers...

Gonna buy a sprayer for my red cedar...200 plus, having to spray them way to much for bagworm..With the money I've been paying a professional, I could buy a sprayer myself...Looking at the Enduraplas 50 Gallon Roller 3 Point Land Champ Tractor Sprayer.

I've not a clue how this would work on my 8n...would the pto shaft match the pump?...Would I have to keep the tractor revs
up to get the psi and gpm that I'm being told I need to spray the trees completely..both sides..from one side? thx in advance..

Pump will do fine need to run it close to 540 rpm but doesn’t
need to be exact they have adapters that will make the
smaller shaft fit the 1 1/8 pto if your tractor doesn’t have the
larger size

I run one on an Ford 800 and get along just fine. I use for spraying yard and fence rows. I don't run mine
close to the 540 rpm and it will make at least 60 psi and I have a regulator to adjust it down.

Just remember 50 gallons of water is a little over 400lbs. Plus the weight of the sprayer (just looked it up,dry weight is 160 lbs)

I think max capacity of an 8n is 800 lbs.

Don't know what kind of terrain you're on. Could make it a little light in the front end.

Just be careful

My pto turns whether I'm bush hoggin, or pulled up to the house

and stopped for something...out of gear with the brake set...idling..
