Had a friend stop the other day and we were looking at the tires on the d1000 they’re cracked clear through and they have been booted in several places . Couple days passed and he called I think I found a set of tires for that baler at the junk yard size 16.5l 16.1 sure enough the exact right size was able to get both tires for 50$ These tires about 600$ each locally and about 450 online

Never know what you can find just scrounging around. That truly is a great find and considering it being the odd size and all.

I figured I’d never find any without getting new . I’ve got a lot of good things out of the scrap yard

You're definitely luckier than I am. Just last week I bought new airplane tires for the last of my hay wagons. I figure if they last as long as the old ones I shouldn't have to worry about them ever again. Unless an accident pops up or I do something stupid like buy another wagon. Which has been known to happen.
