does anyone know what the last serial # made is for this tractor. mine is # over 60,000, and 1955 started at 58067.

I've only seem one other over 60000. If you knew how many were made, and the serial numbers were sequential, one could figure it out.

thanks guys. it has factory hyd. also and has that round hr. meter dont know if that is factory .appears the row crops and standards are all in one listing .not a lot of the standard specials .

Sounds like it's the twin to mine. Hour meter show 6700 hours and still works. Some of the later Standards had the short rear fenders, cut off about a foot higher, like a 444. Does yours have those?

Ben

so this hr meter is mounted on left by bell housing ? did not know if its a a factory thing. the fenders are all the same on my 4 specials , and have that piece under going down to the lower step.

that's where it is on my 44s. I have seen similar meters on other tractors, must be a generic option.. My fenders sound identical to yours. Good tough old tractors!

Ben

got me wondering about fenders so went out to look at them. the two over 6 thousand #'s have the shorter fenders . the others 54,000 and 59000 have the long fenders. so must have changed around he 60.000 mark. plus this one has the charlynn power steering unit on it.
