Ok, the other post was getting long. So
right or wrong, here's what I did. I Ved
out the crack about a 1/4" deep. Then I
melted some copper into the V. Then I took
a ballpeen hammer and peened it into the
crack while it was hot. Then i rough ground
it with a little HF dremal type grinder
with a tiny cut off wheel and finished with
a sandpaper block. I hope that the pressure
of the head gasket will hold it tight down.
