Found an app that measures acres. Interesting data.

This field I was told by property owners was 6-7 acres. More like 5.....Got 80 square bales from first cutting and 120 second. 15 miles from home.

This field is just a bit smaller. Got 260 bales on first cutting. Second cutting looks better. Its 4 miles away from home.

This place was less than 4 acres total. 255 bales. Flat ground. 10 miles from home.

You can also open the app on your phone and when you cut around the outside edge of the field it will tell you the acreage.

I really like the GPS mapping, get a report out of combine that shows yields down to the width of the combine. As a geek, you could put GPS mapping on your baler and connect the bale counter up to it.

I have 'Fields Area Measure'. It is a free app.I use it on every field I work.Once measured, you can save for future use. Both my own,and custom jobs. Now I know EXACTLY how many acres fields are. Surprisingly(or not) most folks really dont know how big(or small) their fields are.I also have 'Speedometer'. That is really handy for finding ground speed for spraying. Also just to find out how 'fast' your old tractor is really traveling. Also keeps track of miles covered.Amazeing how many miles you cover in a day just going back and forth in a field.

A number of years ago back when I had some flood damage who ever came out to look at my place give me a copy of what my land looks like that is a lot like that. So with it I now know about how much of my land is pasture/hay field. I have just a little less then 14 acres of hay land and the rest is woods and mountain

Is this on Google Maps? I have tried a couple of satellite mapping acreage measuring sites that were overly complicated and hard to navigate so I am open to something new.

You've got what looks like trees and a building in the first couple of pictures. That will reduce the available acreage in that field.

Anything over a ton to the acre 2000 pounds is considered a blessing on dryland around on irrigated land can see yields as high as 3.5 ton depending on the crop
