Or just a thrifty old man?
I must have driven through some fresh oil on the road somewhere and it threw black stuff all over my new to me pickup.
Grrr. I had to use mineral spirits to get it off.
It also motivated me to get sone mud flaps on it.
Cousin was a body man and he told me the best and cheapest thing you can do to preserve the tin is put mud flaps on them.
I looked at the mud flaps on the old pickup and they still look pretty decent.
So I cleaned them up a bit and put them on this one.
This is the third pickup I've had them on. Bought them from the dealer when I bought my 01. Then swapped them over when I bought the 06. Now they're on this 13.
Maybe I'm just cheap.
But I suspect there's more than a few here who would do the same thing.
