If machines could talk.

What was it used for, how hard a life, when was it put out to pasture, how many drivers did it have, .......

I would enjoy hearing that ones story.

Fordson E27N with Roadless "Driven Girder" half tracks. Were very popular in certain areas, I suspect that one is in Australia where a lot were used to reclaim the "Malle" scrub land in parts of Victoria. My old company was a service agent for repair of the tracks and running gear in the 1940's because we had machine shops, worked for the War Department and the Ministry of Agriculture. Sending the track units to us for repair meant that they did not have to go through the railways in London. Roadless were in Hounslow, just on the outskirts of the city.
