Busy weekend!

My wife left Friday afternoon for a girls weekend. So it was just me and the kids. We got up Saturday morning and went and met a guy about some implements he has. I found a disc, a brush hog that I wanted. He could not locate the plow he had told me about. He said his dad may have moved it. I have to go back. I found another piece that I did not know what it was and had left my phone in the truck. We then had some running around to do. We got home around 5pm. I did the chores at home and then fixed SOS for supper. I got the kids up at 7am this morning and we went to the flea market. I could not find another good "what is it". Lol. Yesterday I picked up some RM43 to spray some grass I wanted to kill. We got home around 10am. I then went out and sprayed two sprayer full. Then I cleaned out all my dogs water buckets. I also put the battery back on my daughters jeep and charged it. I then fed all the animals. I finally walked back in the house at 6pm. By the way, it was 93 here today with a heat index of 100 . With 76% humidity. I was soaked when I got in the house. My wife had got back home in the mean time. I then fixed dinner. I fixed street tacos, rice, and black beans. Finished eating around 8. I am done for the day! Now go to bed and go to work tomorrow! How was everyone else's weekend?

Sounds like you had a busy weekend as well. I had 3 yards to mow which total just over 15 acres, another 10 I ran over with the bush hog, sprayed a 3 acre gravel parking lot for weeds, 6 lawn mowers picked up for repairs, delivered 4 that were finished, changed an alternator on a backhoe. But did take the time to go watch a tractor pull last night. And the heat index was over 100 here too. And that's just my side job work, I have regular 40 hour a week job on top of what i just mentioned.

Yes sir. You sound like me sir. Stay busy all the time. Guys at my regular job tell me I need to slow down. I can out work nearly all of them. And I am older than them! I will just keep on going on.

Oh ok. My son and I like the smoker classes! I like the classes where they still look like tractors over dragsters.

Yeah, so do we. They did have one class of the modified. This was the first pull we've been able to have in Southern Illinois too. They're planning another one in September

Cut brush all morning (chainsaw work). Bush hogged a field in the afternoon. Done about 5:30. Then ran for some ethanol free gas. Then bad dinner.

We had to cancel our American Threshermans
show and pull in Pinckneyville, Illinois as
well. Staying hopeful for the fall show,
we'll decide that in our September meeting.
