Anyone have some idea what a fair price would be for this
Ford 961 Relative to Relative?

In Wisconsin.

Sorry, this is all the info I have so far.

Thanks. Paul

Well I tried buying my uncle's Ford 861 gas without a loader and it went for $14,500. Needless to say I didn't get it. Doesn't help you much but I've found relatives are the worst people to buy from.

With the information given I think that I can nail it right down to between $800.00 and $8,000.00

Yikes!

I was gonna guess $4000 as a high price and work down from there depending on condition, transmission (4, 5, 5 live, or SoS), and engine (gas or diesel) and that loader looks a little big for the tractor not perfect fit.

Yea, your relatives really cared about you on that ‘deal’. Sheez.

Paul,
As a matter of reference, I bought a good running 960 last year. Needed tlc, had original paint, tires were fair, paid 1600.00 in north central Wisconsin. Several around on craigslist for around 3000.00, been there for a while. Depending on how well you and the relatives get along somewhere in the 2 to 3K range would be fair. Delt with relatives before on things, may want to think if a good deal is worth it.....lol.

Paid $1300 for my 960. And $1200 for my 951. No loader on either one. I would add $500 or so for that. Both mine were runners.

Not worth much for a loader tractor . Front end is to light and the rear needs a lot of weight to hold it down. Might better find a better candidate for that job.
