Larry, you probably do more than most people your age. We all slow down with age but your mind is still sharp and full of a lot of knowledge. Keep on keepin on and don't ever give up!! Gary.

That shadow and thought apply to all or most of us any longer. It sure does to me. I could not do what I used to do as a day's work would kill me.

I dunno looks like you keep up a pretty good pace doing a variety of things, you do a lot more than a lot of much younger folks I know. And the best part you're enjoying what you are doing.

It’s 92 outside with a heat index of 102. Maybe just numbers, let’s say it is quite warm and stifling high humidity.

I ain’t doing much of anything whatever age I am.....

Paul

The real question is, What do you want to do that you don't think you can? Everything takes us longer now, maybe 3 days to do what
we used to in a day. We all worked along side some oldster in our life, and did the heavy or hard work that they could not do any
longer. Well now we are that guy!!! Let the nephew do the heavy lifting while you do the ciphering. It is all just the cycle of
life. Some people really abused their bodys with physical labor, they wore out a bit younger. Other worked hard and long and a bit
smarter and they lasted a bit longer. Every day is a NEW beginning not the beginning of the end. gobble

You must've been one heck of a go getter when you were younger because you are always busy with something. You put me to shame every day. I have lost my desire

I'm still making and selling small square bales of hay. Since I do it all by myself, my baseline for the past few years has been 150 or so bales into the barn on one
day. Yesterday the temperature was 97 degrees. I bucked 48 hay bales and felt like I was going to die. I tried to tell myself that the problem was the heat, but the
truth is, I'm going to be 76 years old in about a month. Getting old is not easy.

Keep on keeping on Larry. We all enjoy your posts.

You are upright on a good running tractor. Asking for more would be nonsense. You are doing just fine. Jim

Larry,

Ya's doing just fine! Me and Mr. Sweet
are slowin' down a fair bit too... and
we are younger than you.

Keep a positive mind set... cuz Dude,
you can work circles 'round A LOT of
people who are half your age!

Keep on keepin' on, Larry!!!

You are doing something you like. It's a little after 4:00 in the afternoon here in California. There's a lot I could be doing. I just ran out of stem for the rest of the day. Stan

Larry, I'm sure your wife and daughter are glad you are still casting a shadow. It seems to me that a couple of years ago you didn't think you would be. If you weren't we
couldn't enjoy the photos that Walter keeps posting showing what some ones green thumb is doing. Keep on keeping on. Leroy

Kinda what brought this sad feeling on,,the wife saw my Walter posts,
She said it was silly,,,and no one wants to see the little garden every day,,

It kind of made me realize what I used to be,,and what I have become

only WISH I could do the gardening that you do!
One room in the house to another is getting to be difficult......not good.

I have a good friend that I buy bulls from that tells me often. he still puts in 8hrs of work a day.... some days it takes him 14 hrs to get all 8hrs in tho...

I spent 2 weeks in the hospital That I helped design and build and authorized the payments when i was Commissioner in 2004.I credit the MILDEST winter of 2016-17 to allow me to f3ed and keep my cattle each day .. I enjoy your garden pictures a big improvement from back when you were really sick and I'm happy to see it.I sure can't do what I once did my knees hold me back and get tired a lot easier but like you I'm determined to keep doing what I can.The only alternate is to
to sit and do nothing which is not going to happen.Anyway we've worked hard and saved, lived a pretty frugal life to be able to get to a point to enjoy what we want to do and I'm going to try to enjoy the time I have left as the clock is running and no one knows when the bell will toll.

Hang in there Larry many of us here enjoy your posts and
pictures. Don’t dwell on what used to be, enjoy what you have
now. Cancer can sure change things in one’s life but you
made it through and that’s what matters.

I enjoy your posts and the pics of your garden. All my produce comes from the farmer's market. I don't grow a blessed thing. Even the bees out in the bee-yard do most of the work. I also like your little dog Walter. He looks like a good friend.
