Tractor Ride "Back Seats"

I enjoy seeing the creative ways some people fabricate "back seats" for passengers on tractor rides. Some of them are quite elaborate affairs with matching suspension seats and canopies! It appears that some of them even have manufacturer decals on them. I believe someone out there is making them. Does anyone know? Here are a couple I've seen online.

Please post pics of your "back seats" and explain how you made them.

This correct seat sits to the right side next to the not so
correct round top fender on my “60”. Rider has a good view
of the road ahead!

In India new tractors have rails and padded seats on the fenders. Keep in mind the people that would have a tractor over there this is likely
their only motorized form of transport so they need room for the family.

From what have seen of transportation in India anyone driving a tractor any distance on the road should probably plan on around a dozen passengers.

Hi, in the UK transport boxes are frequently modified with anything ranging from old car seats to aircraft type ones. Clearly they must be anchored to the floor and have seat belts. On-tractor seats are another matter. The law requires that in order to fit a passenger seat onto a cabbed or non-cabbed tractor that option must have been available as an original figment.......a mounting point etc. In-cab seats are very basic. To improve on the comfort in our MF 3060 I made a seat frame, cut 4” foam to suit and upholstered the cushion and backrest in a vinyl cloth. Actually it’s quite comfortable. I will try and attach a photo of a tractor that I followed on a road run some time ago.

I don’t have a picture, but I made ours side by side. It’s a Z Moline which puts all the controls on my side except
the clutch but I got long arms so not a problem. I was fortunate enough to have two seats and the suspension to
go with so I just cut a piece of 6x3/8 flat wide enough to bolt the suspensions to, drilled two holes in the middle
to bolt the 6” to the original seat bracket and bolted the seats on. Ran 2 outside support struts from the seat
suspensions for extra support and stop any wiggle or seesawing. Wound up with about 3 inches between the
seats and separated seat suspension. I like the side by side better simply because she likes it that way. Another
advantage to side by side is if she falls off I know where to pick her up at after the ride is over.

Notice in the first picture that this tractor has two extra air stacks - very tall and dark
colored !!!! Tha photographer couldn't "catch" that photo again in a 100 tries !!!!

I know there's gotta be some tractor ride guys out there with big-time back seat rigs. Let's see what you've got.

I know the owners/operators in the first two pics. The first one he removed the 3pt arms and mounted channel iron to the housings and then used angle iron. Originally it had a
single suspension seat, later it got the bus seat in the picture. I don't remember now if it has suspension or not. We haven't had any rides this year due to nnalert. The second pic
he owns a very successful welding and fab business and made it using IIRC 2" pipe. He also made similar ones for a JD 60 and 4010. I haven't made any for ours yet as dad & I still
drive our own separately with no riders. I have seen several made using old converted 3pt hog movers like in the third pic. Some have a double wide seat made mounted on the original tractor seat suspension, there is a place in Iowa that makes them.

Best modification I have made to my tractor by far! The little ford is so quiet my bride and I can carry on a conversation and she's not hanging out back in the dust. My wife gets on first then I get on, works really good.
