OT - Gluing Auto Mirror Housing

Chipped a small corner off the mirror housing on a 2001 Acura Integra. Hoping I might be able to glue the piece back on. Not sure what plastic the housing is, or what glue would work best? Any wisdom would be much appreciated.

npowell..... I use clear Gorilla Glue on most all of my glue projects that I'm trying to conceal a glue color that doesn't show. It has a really great adhesive quality as well. Good luck.

I've been using 'Dap RapidFuse, fast curing all purpose with Plastic Primer'. It is available at most big box stores. I can't tell one kind of plastic from another, so I use the primer stick and put on some glue and it is done. They sell two kinds, the package with the primer is the one that covers all bases.

Try J B weld plastic. Worked on bumper of my car gorilla glue didn't.

I've had great success with "Q Bond". It sticks in @ 10 seconds.....and your fingers will be stuck too if you get any on them. Seriously, it works great.

Glazier told me you don't use black silicone only clear type .Colors eat the glass finish.
