The Case-IH dealers around here tried selling those as an economy tractor back a couple decades ago.

That didn’t work out so well.

Local guy still sells Belarus tractors, now called
ZMT I think. Sells a few every year , not his full
business, just a short line he carries. And fellas I
know have had good service from the tractors

A number were sold around here in the cash crunched eighties....they are long gone but the vintage Farmalls, Deeres, Masseys and Cases still soldier on.

I do get the idea that because most guys bought the Belarus tractors for not too many dollars, and knew that they had a low resale value , they beat the heck out of the tractors and tended to neglect them somewhat. I know a fella that has 9000 hours on a Belarus tractor like the one in the picture.
