Jimmy Thies had a story about visiting the Arens farm During milking time. As usual in central Mn the barn radio was tuned to 1150 AM which did and still does religiously play The Fatima Rosary during evening milking time. (No pun intended)
Jimmy said it was common to hear .....Hail Mary full of grace... blessed art thou.... which was about the time old Bessy would swatch her gutter tail upside Mr. Arens’ face to which he responded “$08, $08, $08!!

Been there and said that myself! I milked cows three of my four years of high school. I worked on an all Jersey farm. They bottled the milk on the farm. They had their own milk truck and took the milk to town to be sold in several grocery stores. It is sad to say but that farm has since been out of business for some years now.

Well the book tells that God created everything, so I guess he must’ve made them words too! Probably made them special for milking cows I suspect
