Oil in front axel

I have a 2001 Kubota BX2200. Had too but new seals in front drive axel, so I had all the oil out. Got all the oil out. Every place I look I am told it holds 5 qts oil. I have only 4 qts in it after a week rechecking it. So what’s going here?

if its full its full. maybe talking 5 litres is about 4 quarts. a plane crashed with that mixup on fuel filling..

I work on tractors every day for a living and I pay very little attention to what manuals say when it comes to refill capacitys. We use the dipstick or sight glass. We have found that manuals can be of by quite a lot.
