Shipping container

I'm getting ready too buy but want one with a roll up door on the opposite end of the swinging door!

I have three that I use to store smaller items to clear out the shop and storage sheds. They work well, dry and keep rodents out. The only concern I have is they get very warm (hot) inside in the summer heat and sun. Currently working on trying to vent them and still keep the weather and rodents out. Work well.

My son bought one a few years back and had it kinda tucked away between two other buildings. The county found out about it and told him he either had to put it on a foundation or get rid of it. He hooked onto its with a tractor and drug it to a neighbors place with more trees.Might want to check into it before you buy.

I bought 2-20 footer containers at different auctions last year. I really like them, as the previous posters said, once you shut the door on them, no critters can get into them. I use mine for storage for the lawn mower and 4 wheeler.

Fella I know bought 4 stacked them two high, and welded them together. Placed 30 feet apart, then set trusses on top . All of this sits on a concrete pad.. cut some side doors into containers with a fibre wheel. Made a cheap shed

I bought a 20ft one last year--$2300 delivered its in pretty good shape--has very tight sealing doors

A lot of farmers use them here, including me. Lots of advantages, keeps pests (including two legged variety) out. Disadvantage is heat in hot Australian summer. There are many ways to put a shade roof on them. I just used three purlins 8 inch, 6 inch, 4 inch to give side slope, extended back and front of the container, roof corrugated zincalumn. Works well. Others have gone to more trouble and built a pitched roof, works the same but looks better.

I'm about to install the rafters....IF the RAIN ever STOPS.......
