Our National Anthem

OT of sorts but we're all patriotic going into Independence Day. I couldn't resist sharing this with you all. This on the Wanamaker Organ in Philadelphia. History for sure as this instrument is 100
years old and thought to be the largest playing pipe organ in the world. It's 490 ranks and approaching 30,000 pipes and built old-school to sound like an orchestra. It's built into a department
store the size of a football field and eight stories high and has been played twice a day for 90 years and with orchestras worldwide. The patrons in the store sing along.

My mother grew up in Philadelphia and was acquaintances with the organist who lived on the same block as them. I read about the organ and watch YouTube but never been there, it’s on my bucket list for someday.

Jimmy Hendrix is the only one I care for. My neighbor sang the regular one at FB meeting in Chicago. I told him that he should have slipped the Hendrix CD up full blast to wake the FB up to reality.
