I see places like that and always wonder what happened. Why isn't someone living there, keeping it up. Usually in the middle of nowhere and
nothing for people to do anymore. We have certainly become social creatures. So sad.

If walls could talk, the history of places like that would be interesting.
I look at places like that and always wonder how many Christmases
was had their thanksgivings and why did the people leave.

I can think of places where the owners got old and didn't have adequate income to keep the house in repair. By the time they are gone it is not economically feasible to repair it so it gets bulldozed.
