Some opinions please on what net wrap you guys buy for your round bales. Are you partial to your baler manufacturer's brand or do you just go to the farm supply place and buy rolls of it? If you do either one, why?

I use Vermeer wrap in my John Deere, have had good luck with it. Bought some from Jones Twine Co in Missouri this year, but haven't used it yet.

I tried some from rural king one year and after bout 10 bales I thru it away. I stick with Deere cover edge. I can buy Deere in the winter on sale and it has more feet than the cheap stuff did so it about evens out.
Now finding good 9000 ft twine is a real challenge!

I use Vermeer edge net wrap in my New Holland round baler and Vermeer Poly-170 in my New Holland small square baler. Have been happy with net and square except for one square bundle that my knotters didn't like as the twine varied in diameter.

I use the Cordex as well. I also have used what my CaseIH dealer sells and had no problem with either. Neighbor has a Deere baler and says it only likes premium net wrap. Tom
