Don't think I've seen a nose and grille like that. Pretty elaborate and still intact.

(quoted from post at 12:23:51 06/17/20) Good afternoon: The pic shows a Dodge from early 1940s through 1946, I believe.

Dennis M. in W. Tenn.

Thanks, I was wondering if maybe it was a Dodge but I'm not too familiar with trucks from that era.

My cousins in VA have a Dodge Brothers truck on their farm, hasn't run in years. I think the grille is different from this one, though. Doubt anyone will revive it--it's back with the blackberry bushes, home to wasp nests, just pretty much overtaken by greenery. Winter would be the time to pull it out if anyone wanted to save it.

I'm keeping what was my Grand Father's last truck, a 47 Dodge 2 and a half ton special, which isn't in too much different shape than that by appearance. Ours
still has a deck and racks and hoist. I move it every so often. Dad started it in 77 and was licensed and driven till 68. It is a horizontal surface and used as
such, the deck that is but the truck is inside. This and another rust pic of late look very Norman Rockwellish, as in paintings, am I wrong?

I thought the same thing--this rust pic looks like a painting. Was maybe stylized by someone on the computer?
