Onan carburetor float search

Good Morning. I have a 16HP Onan in a Rounder L600 Skid loader. The carburetor float is done and I cannot find the replacement using the numbers I have. Engine model is BF-MS/2833E, serial number is
K753134628. Carburetor model looks to be DD 11R. From the Rounder parts manual, the float part number is 50002741.
In the searches, I have found a 0146-0380 float, but that doesn't look like the OEM one I have, and just want to make sure before I order one.
Thanks for your help.

I can't help you with the numbers but unless your float was dropped and stepped on (don't ask) I have yet to find a brass float that I was not able to fix with some solder and a little bit of patience.

It's not that I am too cheap to buy a new float but sometimes the week or two wait to get a new one is not an option.

Determined, thanks for the reply. The oem float is a sort of foam material, with a "coating." The coating is bulging and cracking out away from the foam, and getting hung
up on the bowl sides. I would love a brass replacement, and the part 0146-0380 is brass, but I am unsure if that is the one that will work.

Thanks

He will have it, probably your choice of foam or brass (choose brass) and his price will be fair. I've bought from him before. Lots of parts, new and used, fair prices and a great source of Onan info.

I don't have anything. But yes I would contact boomer. He should have one to sell you. He does a lot of Onan engine work.
