All Rotary Mowers: used for discovering lost: shovels/rakes, dog chains, fence wire, abandoned well heads, 435 feet of #9 wire, newly lifted from their primordial home 3/4 ton boulders, and your aunt's Rolex which was searched for by 20 people for 3 hours at the reunion. Jim

Either we mellow down with age or just finally get rid of all of our dammit tools.

Last one I recall that I let fly was a gas weed wacker about 15 years ago.

I find it really cuts down on the ricochet damage if I just drop the dammit tool into the scrap bin.

Cursing still optional.

Thanks for posting this! I have seen list similar to this in the past, but this one is by far the most complete and comprehensive such list I've ever seen. I love it!!
Thanks again!

But By Golly I can Attest to nearly every one of the events described has happened at My Funny Farm at least once ,,. j nicholson, i did a favor for a guy to bushog a pond area off ,,. He forgot to tell me about the 300 ft roll of 1/2 inch black plastic pipe that siphoned water over the hill to his horsey pen .. very 1st round his water works were shut down . and i had a difficult job getting that tubing out .

I Got so frustrated with a Miter saw making Less than perfect 45 degree cuts i
threw it out the front door into the mud. Bought a new Dewalt , and kiked the old
to the curb , it was there the next day , but someone piked it up over the weekend.

Log Chain - Used to clean the underside of a bush-hog after you've lost it for a year, then suddenly found it in the field.

I’m missing a few finger prints and a few other scars from the years of working around equipment. And the knife one makes me mad every time I think of it .

Our son runs a paper mill in Wisconsin, last months one of the millwrights was sanding a piece of round stock in the lathe, with gloves on. The emery cloth caught and pulled his thumb completely off, and too mangled to re-attach. Unfortunate accident, but he shouldn't of been wearing gloves.
