0.5---2 tractors, one dead one alive.

Could have gotten better score if I'd included the Cub Cadet and Craftsman riding mower. Can't bring myself to call them tractors. The 2 Masseys--those are tractors.

.375 Had to buy three to get the one I wanted, all had stuck motors. I average about 2 yrs to redo a tractor, so with 3 running and 5 to go...let me
see...how old will I be? What if someone offers me another "rare beauty" in the rough? This is indeed a mental illness!

Nope. Betcha the cartoon professor that's
suggesting the equation doesn't even have a
parts car. OR, know what that means.

I have 18 tractors. 17 of them have been started this spring, but it took considerably longer than 10 seconds on several of them. Still, it is a record for me. Most years there are at least one or two which don't get ran at all. I plan to get them all out on Father's Day weekend and line them up in our yard.

My quotient is all over the place, based on hypotheticals. My quotient ranges from a .6 to a .2. It all depends on the fact that most of my tractors when I got them ran or did shortly there after and in theory they should start right up, however most of them have sat for years. I know some will take longer than 10 mins to get them to start. It also depends on if you include garden tractors in the mix or not.

wow 10 seconds from turning on the key and fuel..... well.. batterys are costly so id have to pack a battery from tractor to tractor with me... what about the one thats split in 3 peices.. the front end and rear end are outside while the engine is in the shop from a rebuild ive had the engine running on the stand does that count?? it said running!! it didnt say it had to move, did it??? what about the hand crank ones. some days i can start em on the 2nd swing of the crank some days I dont even want to try and swing the crank....

wow there is a lot left to interpretation..

I use all of em i have at least a couple of times a year, and im good with that
