I spent the week in Wichita Falls, nice people there and seems like nice place.

Crops look way behind all the way.

Truck ran 16.2 MPG average @ about 80 MPH, found out it has at least 34 gallon tank.

Wichita Falls is where Lonestar Weights are located. They carry aftermarket rear weights that fit nearly all tractors. I use them on my Kubotas that also fit later Fords, NH, and JD.

Wichita Falls is also where I found my wife. Didn't take long to move out of there too. There is a reason why it is called tornado alley. In a short few years I was there I saw several really big ones. One is too many for me. And one day the temperature went from 88 degrees to 18 degrees in a matter of 30 minutes.

Wichita Falls is a great place to be from. (A long way from)

This is where the division headquarters of the group that bought my company is located.

I am now a director in their integration division, and will while I have fun. I really do not have any responsibilities, as they hired me for my knowledge and contacts. This is the hardest part for me, as I am used to getting in there and working. This is the largest electrical testing firm in the world, and the twelfth largest integrator in the US. They are really good people, but are a large company. I have had a couple frustrating moments this last week where I almost decided to retire.

I did reinvest a good junk of my proceeds back int this company, so have ownership. I did not have to do that, but wanted to do that so it kept me with a vested interest in the success moving forward.
