Early 1970s David Brown 780 Highway tractor fitted with a Sta-dry safety cab wich
came to the dealer in a cardboard box for them to fit. Note the brake drums on the

MJ...... I have a David Brown 885 ..... 73' model. Live pto. Dual range 540/1000 rpm pto. Hydraulic top link. Second owner. Excellent shape. Built really well. 12 forward gears and 4 reverse. Question: did David Brown have a division that built ( or still does) Army Tank transmissions?? Both English and US tanks??
The only thing I need for if in the short term is a new dual rose insignia for front clip. I do in fact know the story behind the two colored roses and the plants they represent. Aren't they somewhat near each other. Ok .......maybe I don't know the entire story. The insignia I have now is all in one piece..... No chips ....but faded to the point of barely seeing colors or images. I'll keep searching. Wingnut
