Band saw parts blades

Hi everyone. I posted this on the tool talk board but I guess no one on there has ever heard of these folks.

Has anybody bought anything from or had any dealings with a company named Saw Blades.Com. They have a Houston,Texas address and seem to have a good inventory of aftermarket parts to fit my ancient Kalamazoo 610-D horizontal band saw. They have a wide selection of blades and their prices appear to be competitive. Thanks in advance for any knowledge you could or would share.

Sir, May I suggest trying REDMOND & Co, Palmetto, Ga.
Ph 800 428 9898.

Website available under the above name.

Good luck, jac

I have a 610. It was a mess when I bought it. I've done a lot of tightin up to it. Bought the special parts from Clausing. Prices aren't unreasonable. Bearings are all common sizes and all came from eBay. NOS closeouts are a good thing. Blades I found were Starrett . Same way, NOS. Good Luck.

I've been getting mine from McMaster Carr for 40 years with good results. Both
at work and now in retirement. They are made to order, any length is avilable.

I bought this saw in the 70's used it for a while then sold it like a nut but I got a chance to buy it back in the
mid 90's when it needed the bronze gear the worm gear ran on. I ordered the parts then from Clausing and put it
back in running shape and have used it since then. I don't use it very much anymore but it is nice to have when
needed. I don't mind buying from Clausing but these people claim their parts will be about 30-40% less price wise
with the same quality. I just wanted to see if anybody knew anything about them.
