OT-Goose problems

The boss has put me in charge of goodetting rid of the geese, about 50 of them, from the lawn and fields where I work. We are just inside the city limits of the small town here so that limits my options. We have about 5 acres of open land here with a drainage ditch and a small pond.
You can hardly walk across the parking lot without stepping in goose poop and tires on the mower are clogged with it.
Do decoys work for any length of time?
The make solar powered ultra-sonic transmitters that are tripped by motion detectors. Any body have experience with these?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

My parents retired to a single story condo complex in southwest michigan on a large lake.
Many geese and ducks on the lake year around.
The ducks and geese love the lush green lawn grass.
The so!ution to keep the geese away was to simply put up a string of pennants.
The old fashion multi color plastic variety often seen at a newly opened gas station in the 50's and 60's etc.
Strung them up at the edge of lake about 2 feet off the ground.
The geese re fused to get anywhere near the pennants and would cruise on by to the neighbors instead. When they had gosling s with them the stayed twice as far away.

Hire a local guy and his geese chasing dog. They use them at the airports with success.

If you can find their nests you can swap fake eggs for their real ones. It won't get rid of them but it stops them from reproducing.

When I fly my drone near the house the hummingbirds dive bomb it. If one hit it I expect the drone would win. If a goose hit it I don't expect the same outcome.

Since you mention "parking lot" and if these are wild geese, be careful in what method you chose.
Some one in that parking lot might not like your method and turn you in for wildlife harrasement.

How about a small chicken wire fence - 24"? around the perimiter of the pond. Little ones can't fly over to get in or out. should eventually discourage adult birds.

we also use the string at the in laws place on the lake. Just a string not pendants. But that wouldnt help if geese were
flying in and landing on the lot inside perimiter.
