I used to love ketchup and hated tomatoes.

Now I like a tomato slice on my burger, but don’t use ketchup.

Mustard has always been good......

And there really has to be some serious issues with people that put ketchup on a hit dog.(LOL)

Homemade Ketchup

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 garlic clove, minced

1 small red onion, diced

One 14-ounce (400-gram) can peeled plum tomatoes

1½ tablespoons tomato purée

1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

Salt and pepper, to taste

Ketchup is light years better than A-1 steak sauce that's for sure!

What I put on my hot dog is my business. You put whatever you want on yours and I won't say a word.

The only requirement is that the hot dogs be Nathan's or Hebrew Nation, they are the best. IMHO.

Hard to beat red gold ketchup on a nice steak. If I do not use so much ketchup and pickles I would not get my fruits. The funny thing is I can not stand tomatoes!

anything with tomatoes is a PASS for me, Cant stand them used to eat ketchup on fries,, and still will once in a great while but if I do its BLACK with pepper to kill some of the awful taste,, I grow them for the wife and family but the smell makes me want to puke,,

I used to like A-1, then one day I made the mistake of reading the ingredient list. "Anchovy paste". I barely made it to the bathroom before it came up!

My grandmothers "ketchup" was incredible, Kinda like a Chicago Hot dog fixens with a bit more juice. Jim

Can't believe all the ketchup and tomato haters on here. I grow my own, always grab a few cherry tomatoes when working in the garden. Make my own spaghetti sauce and chili, you wouldn't believe how much better fresh tomatoes make it. I often just slice up a tomato for my dinner vegetable. Ketchup on fries, burgers, etc.

And losing your lunch over anchovy paste? Unbelievable.

My favorite restaurant just reopened with limited seating.No shared ketsup bottle --only individual packets .

Ate at Mooya last week. Bottles on the tables
As quick as we left, kid was wiping them down.
