7700 starting issue follow up

Been raining so I was able to mess with the 7700 I posted
about a few days ago. Done the crank the engine and feel
what was hot test. Ended up being the starter solenoid. Local
place didn’t have a solenoid but had a complete starter so I
bought it so that I could used the tractor. Put it in and it fired
right up on the first hit. Will order a new solenoid online for
$20 and have an extra starter sitting on the shelf. Thank you
for all the replies. I love the help from you all even on the
silliest questions.

There is a guy not too far from you that rebuilds them and not very expensive. He fixed dads D17 starter for 55 bucks.
