Boy What A Doozie Sunday was!

John Deere 630... 1) Lost the Clutch cover as it went flying threw the air while bush hogging, Never Found it! 2) lost the pin the holds the right 3pt arm on tractor. Heard it hit the 709's blades, & again never found it. Unhooked the 709, & went to get another tractor. Opened the cab door on the Kioti PXC 9020, & #3... The door hit me in the head when the door shock came off the door before I even got in it! I decided right then I was going to the house before anything else (Farm Related) could go wrong! I mean for crying out loud!!!

On that 630 clutch cover. Make sure all 3 of the spring clips are on the pulley and in good condition. Then also make sure the 3 flat spots on the new cover match up to where the adjusting bolts are and the spring clips actually go up over the larger lip of the cover. For years I was doing them wrong and aligning the flat spots with the clips. Don't know how many I was doing wrong over the years ?

Maybe someone or some thing was telling you not to work on Sunday. I use to have to in order to get my farming done when I was working a 60 hr week Monday thru Friday. After retirering from that job I try to cool it on Sundays and just take care of the animals and relax. Although about 3 in the afternoon I can't take it anymore and end up working on something.

I had a day like that a few years ago. Everything I did something broke. Fix it, broke again. Ok move on to another project, YUP broke that too. Fix it broke again. One more project, you guessed broke it. I gave up went in the house and took the day off. Next day I fixed all the broke stuff and nothing broke that day. Someone must have wanted me to have a day off.
