Olivers in the Weeds

Came across these on the drive out to pick up the two arc Welders I posted about on tool talk. Farm is in ruins, bad shape. Looks like it was once thriving and a thing of beauty. JD combine in the Weeds as well. Don't know the story here but it looks sad. This area is the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, West of Frederick, Maryland.

The last one looks like a 1850, looks like a Perkins in it. I'd like to have the front weights off of the first one, but since I'm in western Illinois, it would be kind of a long drive!! Chris

Too bad..... All three have straight tin. No telling what's in the house, barns, and weeds. Lots of places like that in the south. Most times its a case where family is fighting over property of deceased parents or couples had zero living relatives.... Places like that may never be opened to the public.
But through title searches some do get in contact with whomever is paying property taxes. If no one is paying taxes.... Most likely the sheriff owns it.

Yes, right along route 15. Pretty location, just beautiful country out there but they've loaded this place up with a lot of junk and stuff that can be cleared out and no one would miss it. Tractors can stay.
