Gates, or Goodyear V Belts

If you had a choice which belt would you choose. Probably both are made in china. Any thoughts? Stan

Depends companies have different grades of belts.

Motion industries always tries to sell me Optibelts. I think they are made in Germany. They look good but are nothing but trouble. All slightly narrower than regular A and B widths. Doesn?t look bad until you measure with callipers.
Stick with Gates.

I've had good luck with Gates belts. Can't say one way or other about the Goodyear.
