Baled some hay today

Finished today, 500 bales Wednesday, 1000 yesterday and 320 today. I was helping my nephew.

Fescue hay, he has a MF in line baler made by Hesston. I don't know what he gets for hay, I am just the tractor driver lol

You have some pretty ground down there.

I haven't made hay in 9 years now. Sold all my equipment last spring to help finance the daughter wedding because I wasn't using it.

The wife and I were clearing out old hay from the barn that would have been put there in 2001! Some of it is still green! (In color not dryness. lol)

When I grade out a water way for run off or just smooth out some ground I cover the bare ground with the old hay and it takes off like hydro-seeding.

Doesn't smell as good as your tho...
