I have the Hatz diesel running on the Gilco Concrete Mixer now. I cannot find an operator's manual for it and have contacted the factory, who has not been able to help. I have the drum rotating and freed up the clutch on the cable lift system for the hopper. As far as I can tell, the hopper must lower by gravity and raise with the cable system. Is this correct? As far as I can tell the drum and cable drive only rotate in one direction. This means that the drum will unload concrete whenever the chute is lowered into the pour position. Is this right? If jm or anyone else that has operated this model of mixer can shed any light on these questions I would appreciate it!
