Ford 640 About Finished

Well about a year and a half later my dad s old 640 is about finished. Thanks to all here that helped and gave advice.

Before someone protest the color or the color scheme (I know it is coming) I just want to make it known that this was the way it arrived in 1977 and it only seemed fitting to keep it that was as that is all my wife, kids or myself could ever remember. The original color or color scheme did not look correct after seeing the tractor this way for so many years.

Finally it was decided that it was not about correctness to the 640 but memories of my father and their grandfather.

Once again thanks to all that helped and gave advice!

Nice job. Looks like about the only major deviation is the red strip down the hood, and I think it looks better than stock.

What would a long time family tractor be without personal changes, repairs and touches. That is what I like about
restoring/refreshing classics. Other than a few who would point out any perceived flaw most of us appreciate hard work and a job
well done. Well done!

I'm far from a Ford expert, but it looks fine to me even the color scheme. So what is incorrect ?

Looks great! Question: I have never looked close at one of those bumpers or how it is fastened. In the picture it looks like it is attached to the front axle, if so does it move with the axle?

Painted like the 801 or Powermaster series. The 601 series or Workmaster were painted an all red Hod and was ugly.
