brome grass seeding

Well how do I seed brome grass? I have tried An IH end gate seeder. A case IH min -till grain drill and a fertilizer spreader. Cant get the fluffy stuff to flow.. Asked my local Ag supplier and they threw up their hands and said they never had a call to seed that for anyone.
 
I have not done it with brome grass in particular but have mixed other fluffy seeds with cat litter to get it to go through the drill.
 
I have always mixed oats seed with brome grass and used a John Deere notill drill. Drill must have an agitator in the seed box
 
Calfeeder is right. I've sown brome mixed with oats in an IH drill. Go a bit heavier on the oats....Over half....and flow should not be a problem. You may have to stop and hand mix the hopper from time to time.

IIRC, James Howell grows Brome down in southeast Texas. Maybe him or Nancy will jump in and help you out with their advice.
 
Like mentioned, I mix it in with oats in my Minneapolis Moline grain drill. Same with orchard grass.
 
I mixed cash brome with 200 pounds of oats to 100 of cache I?ve also used cracked corn

I have used a percentage brome in all of the grass seedings that I have done along with orchard grass a little timothy and some clover for the nitrogen. I have used the Brillion seeder from the county or from the state university.
