Has any one installed a 12 volt solenoid valve to there tractor.
Though guess prices have dropped sucks to enter the shed and find the tank empty.
Clean thing out and it will be good, then all at once it will leak.
We went to pick up a load of firewood. Walked in to get some cut and when I went back for the tractor and the needle valve had stuck.
On the Allis 170 whit my big hands it a pain the shut it off at the bowl.
Thank you if you have a source for such a valve.

Terramites both have 12v solenoid from factory.
I've installed them on lawnmower, Farmall and Jubilee.
Ebay or Amazon.
Look for the rubber fuel lines.
Silver on top, black.
Any carb that drips when turned off gets one.

Have a lawn tractor I installed one on as the carb would leak and fill the cylinder. Works great.

I've made it a practice to shut off the gasoline valve on all gasoline tractors anytime that I walk away.

FWIW, MF 135s with 3 cylinder Perkins gasoline engines had an electric solenoid operated valve to shut off gasoline in the bottom of the carburetor but the purpose was more to prevent run on rather than run through.

I have had a few tractors that had Murphy switches installed on them.

Has an electric solenoid to automatically shut off fuel if oil pressure drops or the coolant temp gets too high.

You press in and hold an override button when starting until oil pressure builds up then let go.

When you shut off the tractor the fuel solenoid automatically closes.
