did some exploratory surgery

My cousin dropped off this Workmaster and asked me to get it running. A friend gave it to him and said it had run a few years ago. The friend said he had put a new alternator on it but the starter wouldn't engage. And it needed a coil wire. The gas leaking out of the fuel line smelled so bad my neighbor complained. The tank wouldn't drain so we pulled it and dumped some of the the rust out. There is mud in the distributor, the air cleaner is completely clogged with a mud dauber nest and the plugs appear a tad "dirty". All of the sheet metal is rotted out. The breaks don't fully release. I advised him to keep the excellent rear tires and forget about the rest. We're gonna take some usable parts off then scrap it.

Walt, this tractor came from Refugio which was hit hard by Harvey. What I didn't show was the deep rust pits on the front axle and underneath. We think it may have originally been used on the Gulf beach or very close. It's that kind of rust. Already there before the current issues.
