Ha ha,
Dogs are great. They just want to go, no matter how or where.

Nice little drill. The deer plotters would bid that up sky high here.

We?re got our oats planted for Junkshow. A week earlier then last year. Now we wait.

I may have said this before- but you live in some beautiful country. Thank you for posting this, I always enjoy the pictures. Looks like nice land to work, pretty much stone free .

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't that drill suppose to have a front wheel. Some pics of the hitch set up would be nice..

Glad to see someone is getting seed in the ground. We are still up to 2 weeks out. With the price of alfalfa seed, i'm not chancing it getting frozen

I made this hitch so I can plant grass seed and not have to chase seed across a 16 foot drill especially on these small plots. I can still take the hitch off and hook both drills together for a 16 foot when I need to do a big job .

That alfalfa seed is tougher than people give it credit for .

The drill is a John Deere ll147 unit drill they are 8 feet wide and fit nice on a trailer

Made the hitch from some extra 2x4 rectangle tubing I had left over for another project and part of an old drill hitch and a broken caster wheel I had .

It works really nice I just set the hitch the same height the front of the drill would be with the caster wheel and it follows the ground contour perfectly
