Oil filters ?

Absolutely nothing wrong with Purolator filters. They do make three grades that I am aware of just like Wix. Also just like Wix they start at good and go up from there.

My experience is punch up anything you want on on the internet and somebody will say it is junk. Like all other filter companies Purolator makes at least 2 grades of filters for most applications so the price shoppers have a cheapo to purchase. I have used the premium line for nany years which is also the same filters sold as by Motorcraft. There is no reason to question any filter made by them IMO.

My brother found them on sale at w Mart few years ago, he bought 6 of them for our powerstrokes, I used one on my truck, 225,000 miles on the truck, no problem using those oil filters. He uses them too.

SV,
No I don't use them.
Use PF47 on 2 cars and truck.
Buy after market filters for lawnmowers.
RK for Farmall
O Rielly for Jubilee and Honda filters.

I've never had any issues with any brand of filters.

Change oil and filter often. especially if oil turns black. Never ho over 100 hours.
Need to change Kubota after first 50.
Then I think Kubota says change it after another 450 hours. I may change it sooner.
My daddy said changing oil is cheaper than an overhaul.

That?s kinda what I think and a lot of shade tree mechanics misdiagnose a problem and blame something on a part that didn?t actually cause the problem

George I?ve never had an issue with any filter either even ran fram for a while on a gas engine and never an issue I did cut a fram apart a few times and their low end filters are complete garbage but since then they came out with a higher grade as well
