with the barbershops all closed down, what are you all doing for 'hair care'? are you going 'full hippy' with it growing long and shaggy? Or getting a home cut?I haven't had a 'store bought' hair cut in 35plus years.Nothing here has changed.I just had Susan sheared me yesterday. ;)

Tough one.

I'm due for a haircut now but there are no options in sight.

Before long, I'll start to look like Willie Nelson.

I was needing a haircut about the time the virus started. I got pretty shaggy-my hair is very thick-so last week, I talked my wife into trimming me up. She did a pretty good job. Mark.

Well looks like full sheep dog mode old hippy , but only part way as that leaves large clear landing strip on top, May try one of them new EPOXY finishes up there be less to polish and still have a nice shine .

Just get a neighbor kid to do it. worse thing can happen is it looks ugly and you have to shave it. 3 weeks later nobody the wiser

I needed a hair cut about the time the restrictions went into effect, looking pretty scruffy. So if I am going to look scruffy I might as well go all the way and I quit shaving so now I have a beard.

I have been cutting my own hair for 10 or 15 years, it's not hard with a buzzer and two mirrors to see the back of my neck.

If my hair gets any longer I will have to get a cowboy hat, my ball cap is running out of room to stuff all this hair.

I got one right before businesses were ordered closed. The place is right down the road, extremely nice young gal takes good care of this for me. I go every 2 weeks or did LOL. I keep it very short, not much styling as if longer, a very easy cut for her. She texted when things closed, I'll be going to peoples homes if need be, nice of her, but not necessary, rather she stays safe, it can wait, don't care how long it gets LOL!

Worst case, I'll run the trimmer over my head, at an appropriate setting.

Now here is a use for a security cam on live view, prop ones smartphone in easy view with cam on live view while trimming, to make sure you get the hard to see area in the back LOL ! The camera will easily do this. Get 'er done ! LOL.

It does grow back and I've got plenty of hats. I accepted the offer for the new job, that starts in 2 weeks, on site in field attire, not a problem to wear a hat, in case the hand held lawnmower thing does go awry LOL.

Looking pretty shaggy here. I've done a little trimming but the old arthritic shoulders make the back kinda hard to reach. I made the comment a week ago that this year was going to be remembered as the year of the pony tail. My daughter-in-law asked if I was going for a man bun. I told her it would only be a half bun - the top would be missing. ;-)

Just cleaned things up last night. Not much left on top anyways! Not a full shave with a razor. Just clippers with no guard.

Last hair trim around my chrome dome I received in a barber shop was 18 years for our wedding. I then went back to cutting my own until my hands refused to cooperate. I then gave that chore to Dixie that she is always reluctant to do. The result is I get it clipped tight after she does not want to be seen with me.

I had one shortly before things shut down. Getting shaggy, will get shaggier. Had longer hair when it was in style, guess this is the new style.

I had one right before they shut down but if this lasts much longer I am considering giving myself a buzz. When I was a kid dad cut my hair and it always was a butch. When Elvis and the Beatles showed up every one started growing longer hair but dad stayed with the butch. Everyone else had a mop but I still had that darned butch. When I got out on my own I let it grow, swearing I would never have short hair again. I might have to break my promise, time will tell.

Our local news station thought it was so important they did a segment on how to keep your hair up during this time. Lol. I couldn't believe it.
I'm about due for my semi annual haircut. I may just get the clippers out and cut it off when it warms up.

I have been cutting my own hair for several years. I use electric clippers and scissors around the ears. No change in my haircut program due to the current situation, and less people to see my home made haircut .

Cut my own since 1992... I bumped my head on a bus mirror had to have it stitched up I mowed it off with dog sheer's keep it that since...

I also cut my sons hair other than he wanted a ( Eric) Montross he got it but short lived... : )

Wife and I traded haircuts a few days ago

After and before

You might need to rotate the photos.
I charged her $25.00 , cause for reasons totally unknown to mankind, ladies haircuts are always more expensive. And she in turn changed me $15.00 for the haircut, and $10.00 for the beard trim. I can?t say I won, but I didn?t loose anything either.

My wife cuts her own hair and I cut mine. I cannot imagine ever wanting to go somewhere and have some stranger do it. Well, maybe if it was some gorgeous girl?

that just gave me a great idea, all we have to do is place the hat on our heads, then use the clippers and shave EVERYTHING around
it.lol,i guess you would call that the country version of a bowl cut!

Got a set of battery clippers off Amazon, went to the middle of the yard so no cleanup, and cut away. Cam in, looked in a mirror, went back outside and got the spots I missed. The Governor has put the entire state under house arrest until mid June, so I figure at least two more hair cuts with them, maybe more. Next hair cut they will have more than paid for themselves.

(quoted from post at 09:51:52 04/13/20) What I had left mostly fell out from the chemotherapy three weeks ago.
Sorry to hear that! How are you doing? When dads started falling out he me shave his head.

Shave mine smooth every other night in the shower with a disposable razor. Mother Nature started taking it 20 yrs ago, I'm just beating her to the punch.
