Wow, that's wet, I feel sorry for you Californians, either too wet or too dry and burning up. Here on the CA border of MN it's dry enough to drive 4-wheelers across the field, but once you hit the woods trail there's a foot of snow. We split a bunch of dry elm firewood today, it was 50 and sunny, perfect! My wife runs the hydraulics and I carry the wood!

We got a good rain last night; but it has been so dry over the past few weeks that the ground just soaked it right up.
You drive around our slag yard at work; and the engine fan kicks on; and you can not see anything from all the dust.

Richard, we are at a point that we could do with a good soaking. May get it all at once which might not help that much but will keep back the fear of forest fire for a few days.
